Touch screens aren't just for tablets and hybrid notebooks. If you're looking for a touch-screen Chromebook, the Lenovo N20p could be the one for your small business.
Featuring an 11.6-inch (29.5 centimeters), 1366 x 768 glossy screen, the Lenovo N20p is an average-sized Chromebook that measures 11.6 x 8.34 x 0.70 inches (29.5 x 21 x 1.8 cm) and weighs 2.8 lbs. (1.3 kilograms). The N20p isn't your average Chromebook, however. Not only does it offer a touch screen, but it also surpasses other Chromebooks in power and performance.

Fast and powerful
The Lenovo N20p shines in power and performance. It comes with a 2.16 GHz Intel Celeron N2830 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, giving you more than enough power to do everything from check your email to work on multiple business apps at the same time.
The N20p is also fast; it starts up in 10 seconds and won't suffer in speed, even with multiple tabs open. In a review by our sister site Laptop Mag, the N20p showed "only the slightest hint of slowdown" with two 720p YouTube videos and eight other tabs opened in Chrome.
Long battery life
The N20p has enough power to last you an entire workday on a single charge. With its 34.8-Wh battery, the N20p netted 8 hours and 50 minutes during Laptop Mag's Battery Test, outlasting its competitors (the average Chromebook battery life is 8 hours and 15 minutes).
Poor display
Where the Lenovo N20p falls short is in its display. Laptop Mag found that the notebook has poor color accuracy and reproduction, and "washes out" or becomes "unusually dark" as you tilt the screen to change viewing angles. Brightness also falls below the average Chromebook score. This may not matter if you're only working on files and documents, but it could become an annoyance if you are videoconferencing, watching videos, viewing images or using the dual-mode form (a display feature that lets you flip the screen back 300 degrees for presentations).
Touch-screen issues
Another issue is the N20p's touch-screen capability. While having a touch-screen Chromebook can help you be more productive, fluidity can become a problem. Although the touch screen is in fact responsive, Laptop Mag points out that the Chrome OS and browser aren't optimized for touch-screen functionality due to small menus and dialog boxes and other nuances in design. Depending on how you use the N20p, employing its touch-screen feature may actually be a hassle that hinders your productivity.
Cost
The Lenovo N20p costs $330, slightly more than the average Chromebook due to this device's touch-screen capabilities.
